Lisa joined Boysen Animal Hospital in August of 2017. She is experienced helping clients and their pets. She has a passion for all animals but has a special place in her heart for helping cats in need.
Amber Morris, C.V.T.
Amber graduated from the Argosy University Veterinary
Technology program in 2013. Since graduation she has been working in a day practice setting.
Megan Howe, C.V.T.
Megan graduated from the Minnesota School of Business in 2017 with a degree in veterinary technology. She has been working as a certified veterinary technician since.
Stephanie Petron, C.V.T.
Stephanie graduated from the Ridgewater College Veterinary
Technology program in 2015. She joined our team after graduation and has been working with us since.

Dr. Shannon Pietig
Dr. Pietig is a 2010 graduate of Iowa State University. After graduating, she and her husband moved to Oregon where she started her career as a veterinarian. They have since moved back to Minnesota to be closer to family. Dr. Pietig's professional interests include dentistry, internal medicine, and soft tissue surgery. She and her family have 2 dogs and 2 cats, as well as horses and chickens.
Jane Traut, Office/Inventory Manager
Jane is our office and inventory manager. She has been in the veterinary industry since 1995. Jane's professional interests include practice management and team building.
Tessa Malesko, Client Care Representative
Tessa joined Boysen Animal Hospital in July of 2017. She is excited to jump into the veterinary profession and help both pets and their owners!
Kari Rudolph, C.V.T.
Kari graduated from North Dakota State University in 2005 with a bachelor's degree in veterinary technology. She has been working as a certified veterinary technician since.
Dr. Gene M. Boysen
Dr. Boysen is a 1989 graduate of Kansas State University. Dr. Boysen has spent his entire professional career in the St. Cloud area focusing on small animal medicine and surgery. Special interests include general and orthopedic surgery and ultrasound. Dr. Boysen lives in the St. Joseph area with his family, a dog named Molly and a cat named Sasha.
